Data Not Syncing
Troubleshoot data sync issues
If your data isn't updating or syncing properly, try these solutions.
Symptoms
- Changes not saving
- Dashboard showing old data
- Different data on different devices
- Loading spinner that never stops
Quick Fixes
1. Refresh the Page
Press Ctrl+R (Windows) or Cmd+R (Mac) to force refresh.
2. Clear Browser Cache
- Open browser settings
- Clear cached images and files
- Reload the page
3. Check Your Connection
Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
4. Log Out and Back In
This forces a fresh data sync from our servers.
Device-Specific Data
Your data syncs across all devices automatically. If you see different data:
- Refresh both devices
- Ensure both are connected to the internet
- Wait a few minutes for sync to complete
Offline Changes
If you made changes while offline:
- Changes should sync when you reconnect
- If they don't appear, you may need to re-enter them
Server Status
Occasionally our servers may have issues:
- Check our status page (if available)
- Try again in a few minutes
- Major outages are communicated via email
Data Recovery
If data appears lost:
- Don't panic - we have backups
- Contact support immediately
- We can usually restore recent data
Preventing Issues
- Don't close the browser while saving
- Wait for confirmation before navigating away
- Keep your browser updated
